MEBAeco 410 ? semi-automatic band saw for everyday cutting in metalworking

The MEBAeco 410 is a twin-column semi-automatic band saw for straight 90? cuts. It is built for shops that cut solid material, tubes and profiles to length every day: turning shops, machine builders and contract manufacturers. With ? 410 mm round and 700 ? 410 mm flat, it also handles large cross-sections that smaller workshop saws cannot manage.

MEBAeco 410: semi-automatic cutting cycle

Semi-automatic means the operator loads the material and presses start; the machine clamps, cuts and returns to the preset height after the cut. At the push of a button, the saw frame moves down in rapid traverse to the material edge, eliminating idle travel.

Metal cutting band saw with MEBA high-performance package

The MEBA high-performance package handles varying cross-sections: feed runs via a frequency-controlled ball screw drive with automatic monitoring of cutting pressure and feed rate. Pressure stays constant on solid material, and feed stays constant on thin-walled tubes and profiles.

• Frequency-controlled AC band drive, infinitely variable from 15 to 150 m/min


• Hydraulic full-stroke workpiece clamping with double vise that clamps the material on the infeed and outfeed side


• Twin-column saw frame on linear guides, blade inclined 3? to the material support


• Hydraulic blade tensioning with pressure release at standstill


• Carbide blade guides, adjustable guide arm and driven chip brush


• Coolant system, can be combined with the MEBA micro-dosing unit

MEBAeco 410, 410 DG or 410 A-1300: choose by material

Which version suits you depends on the material you cut and how you process it afterwards. All three models share the same cutting range but are designed for different tasks:

• MEBAeco 410: straight 90? cuts, material loaded by hand.


• MEBAeco 410 DG: double mitre band saw with infinitely variable mitre from 30? to 135? and a digital angle display accurate to 0.1?.


• MEBAeco 410 A-1300: automatic band saw with gripper feed from 5 to 1,300 mm per stroke and touchscreen control storing 1,000 programs.

Anyone looking for a band saw of this size almost always works with lathes. That is our core business. G+S supplies used, nearly new and new lathes and is a sales partner of lathe manufacturers.
