Successful metalworking trade exhibition with record attendance

From 9 to 11 July 2025, the CNC Outlet Center in Olching was entirely focused on FaMeta. The fifth edition of the Metalworking Trade Exhibition was a great success and, despite challenging market conditions, welcomed around 400 participating companies.

High-quality professional discussions

The practical exchange between manufacturers and users was once again highly appreciated. Well-known companies such as Burkhardt+Weber, Chiron, EMAG, EWS Weigele, Hahn+Kolb, INDEX and Mazak presented their innovations. New exhibitors, including Hwacheon, DMG MORI, Diebold and Quant, were also pleased with the results.

„Right in the centre of Bavaria, FaMeta offers a high quality of discussions in a regional and manageable setting", praised Robin Koch of DMG MORI Used Machines.

“We are delighted with the popularity of our products here," said Rainer Jilge, Area Sales Manager at Yamazaki Mazak.

In total, 67 fully operational machine tools were demonstrated live, accompanied by automation solution, software, peripheral equipment and accessories.

Personal Contact instead of trade fair hustle

A key characteristic of FaMeta is its deliberately chosen concept. It is not a mass-commercial large-scale event but a platform for personal and direct exchange in a compact, practice-oriented environment. The exhibition specifically targets skilled workers, CNC programmers, machine operators and decision-makers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Looking ahead to FaMeta 2027

Following this success, the organising team is taking more time for the preparation the next Metalworking Trade Exhibition: The next FaMeta will once again take place in Olching from 23 to 25 June 2027.

Holger Kösler, one of the organisers, emphasised:

“In its fifth year, FaMeta has reached a dimension that makes us very happy and motivates us to become even better."
