POSmill C 1050 3-Axis Machining Center
Available immediately, robustly built, and designed for daily workshop use.
With the POSmill C 1050, you get a compact, highly rigid vertical machining center. The machine bed and column are designed for high rigidity, and the hardened and precision-ground rectangular guides are coated with Turcite-B. The worktable measures 1,150 x 560 mm and can support workpieces weighing up to 700 kg; the
travel ranges are 1,050 x 530 x 630 mm with a rapid traverse speed of 24 m/min in all three axes.
The spindle reaches 10,000 rpm and uses an SK40 tool holder. Coolant and blow-off air can be routed through the spindle. The
pneumatically operated tool changer holds 24 tools and changes from tool to tool in 2.5 seconds; tools up to ? 90 mm, 250 mm in length, and 7 kg are permitted.
The machine is controlled by a Heidenhain iTNC 530 HSCI?a control system well-established in toolmaking and contract manufacturing that supports workshop-oriented programming and operation via an electronic handwheel.
