Description
The DMG MORI Gildemeister CTV 160 (built in 2016) is a productive vertical turning center designed for series production. Thanks to its integrated workpiece storage, the machine can run in automated operation, making it particularly suitable for medium and large batch sizes.
The machine is controlled by a Siemens Sinumerik. The 12-station turret (VDI 42) is equipped with driven tool holders (Capto C4), allowing additional drilling and milling operations in a single setup. Workpieces are clamped in a 3-jaw chuck SMW Autoblok KNCS-N 170-43, and the spindle reaches up to 6,000 rpm. Travel is X 720 mm and Z 300 mm.
Equipment includes a KNOLL band filter system (type 240 S-1), a chip conveyor and a Kraft & Bauer argon fire extinguishing system. The machine is available immediately.
