Description
The DMC 80 FD duoBLOCK milling and turning centre from the German manufacturer DMG in Pfronten is a high-precision machine tool for machining complex 5-axis milled parts with an integrated turning function.
Thanks to FD technology (milling-turning technology), the machine not only enables high-precision 5-axis milling, but also turning machining on the same clamping device. This is particularly advantageous for the production of components with high surface qualities and optimised roughness values, as the finest structures can be achieved by turning.
To increase productivity, the DMC 80 FD duoBLOCK is equipped with a double pallet changer. This allows new workpieces to be set up during machining, minimising downtimes.
Another highlight is the large tool magazine with 120 pockets, which offers a high degree of flexibility when machining a wide variety of workpieces. This applies in particular to the combination of turning tools and milling tools, which can be utilised efficiently in the machine.
This combination of precision, flexibility and automation makes the DMC 80 FD duoBLOCK ideal for applications in the aerospace industry, tool and mould making as well as demanding individual and series production.
